Pfizer PharmaceuticalsNew York, NY

Deloitte had just implemented Workday HCM at Pfizer, and Accenture was contracted to support the product post go-live. I was brought onto the project to serve as the onshore Workday SME for Accenture, and to establish BAU requirements for steady state support (i.e. Business Processes, SOPs, Security Requirements, etc.). I coordinated all activities related to Knowledge Transfer from the Deloitte Implementation team to the Accenture Integrations team & ensured adequate support for 190+ Workday Integrations.

This was a particularly unique project, in part because the product was implemented by another company and in part because our team was predominantly based overseas. Effective communication and cohesive operating procedures are what eventually brought about a seamless handoff.

CME Group Chicago, IL

Our team deployed Workday HCM for CME Group. I was specifically responsible for Core HR, Reporting, and Security configuration for the Global Financial Exchange. In addition to collecting pertinent requirements for implementation, we engaged with stakeholders via a series of design discussions & validation playbacks. In these, we advised what features to leverage from Workday and what existing requirements would need to be adapted to comply with the delivered functionality.

Throughout the lifecycle of the project, it was important for us to clearly and coherently articulate how the SaaS solution satisfied the requirements.

This was the first of several waves for CME; with that in mind, we aimed to implement the solution with a long term mindset. This was seen by our team anticipating the needs of the client and accounting for expanded functionality in future rollouts. We believe that many of the proactive measures we took helped prevent the need for rework in future waves.

Bristol Myers SquibbNew York, NY

While aligned with Accenture's Workday practice, I specialized in reports and systems integration. At Bristol-Myers Squibb, I served as reporting lead and coordinated a team to develop Workday reports for over 12 country locations.

Following the launch of Workday at BMS, I transitioned to the Integrations Team, responsible for interfacing Workday with third-party vendors.

I led the end-to-end implementation for interfacing Workday with an External Benefits platform (Darwin by Thomsons). The final deliverable consolidated Benefit Programs across more than 20 countries and significantly reduced management overhead.

I also led the end-to-end implementation for interfacing Workday with a Global Rewards vendor (Bravo by Globoforce). The Globoforce integration enabled employees in Workday to receive awards in the form of One-Time payments; the first global rewards program in place at the client. The integration included outbound and inbound integrations across Workday, Bravo, and multiple payroll vendors.

FI$Cal Sacramento, CA

The Financial Information System for California (FI$Cal) was conceived as a Peoplesoft solution to consolidate financial records across all California State departments (i.e. Dept of Justice, Dept of Finance, Dept of General Services, etc.). FI$Cal was one of the largest and most dynamic information technology (IT) undertakings in the history of the state. It enabled the State of California to combine accounting, budgeting, cash management, and procurement operations into a single financial management system, and in so doing, eliminate the need for hundreds of independent legacy systems and state-entity-specific applications that support the state’s internal financial management operations.

I joined the project at the time of Wave 1 completion. My key responsibilities included working alongside a Senior Strategy Manager to deliver daily metrics to leadership on the overall health of the product implementation. Specifically,  I queried the IT Service Management database and projected meaningful insights through the use of dashboards. I also met with team leads to coordinate ticket resolution, mitigate impending process inefficiencies, and address potential areas of concern.

Covered California Sacramento, CA

Upon joining Accenture, I was aligned to Change Management in the Health and Public Services sector. My first role was at the State of California, where I developed training materials and business processes for the initial launch of CoveredCA (the Obamacare implementation for California).

The training materials included step-by-step guides for how to use Oracle RightNow CRM. These guides were the primary reference materials used in training Service Center Representatives at the 3 Service Center locations (Concord, Sacramento, and Fresno). In addition to training, I offered on-floor CRM support during the initial launch of CoveredCA.

In parallel with training CoveredCA personnel, I worked on developing and refining cross-functional business processes. This often required coordination across multiple departments, for which I met directly with the respective client executives. The work I produced effectively streamlined Payment Processing, Print Processing, and Account Provisioning. The finalized processes were employed to register over 50K customers within the first month of Go-Live.
